SUNY Plattsburg, Hawkins Hall Pond Build

SUNY Plattsburg, Hawkins Hall Pond Build was an amazing project to be a part of.  As you can see in the time lapse video on the right this build was extrordinarly choreographed.  Sean and April Frost of Nature Scapes were honored to be a part of this  tallented  group of pond builders.
"This is what 400 tons of stone, 375 tons of gravel and 200 tons of wetland stone get you: A 365,000 gallon 3/4 acre pond in the middle of campus. Throw in a waterfall, wetland filter, skim cove and floating fountain with 38,000 Sq Ft of 36 Mil Reinforced Poly Liner sandwiched between two layers of geotextile fabric. Keep in mind that most of this was done in 8 days by 20 Certified Aquascape Contractors and employees from Garden State Koi last June," states Thomas Smith, project manager, owner Garden State Koi

"SUNY Plattsburgh's new Hawkins Pond was worth the wait," say SUNY Plattsburg representatives.
"An outdoor lab for science students, 400 tons of North Country rock, native vegetation, waterfalls, a sustainable liner—it's a worthy makeover for one of the most iconic spots on campus."

Excellent points. What are the results of student opions? There are several SUNY PLATTSBUGH student initiatives (https://chng.it/dRLB5dXXZt) to raise awareness.

I value your recommendations. I think it makes great sense to ask pond builders for maintenance guidance, like you and the person who built my pond, https://purelyponds.com/pond-contractor/. I never take on a DIY job without professional advice and direction.

Good pond repair blog. Use Pond Pro 2000. It’s the only liquid butyl rubber in the world. After being applied, can go below-freezing temperatures at night. It’s the only pond sealer in the market that has more than 30 years of history of success and offers a 10-year warranty to its valued customers. Its reliability makes it the most trustworthy pond sealer on the market. Its coverage on a smooth surface is 40 sq. ft. per gallon. Avoid rain in the first three hours of application. Any leftover material can be stored for up to 2 years. Moreover, it’s a UV-resistant, puncture-resistant, and non-toxic sealant so it’s 100% safe for fish, plants, and other aquatic life within the pond.
